Infant constipation or constipation?

Babies have konstipsi or bowel difficulties, it means your baby is difficult defecation, hard stool, and like a stone, and very difficult and ill when he came out. To note that constipation is not related to the number of times the baby bowel movements a day. Bowel movement once every 2 - 3 days once the stool is not hard or soft, is NOT constipation.


Constipation rarely occurs in infants given breast milk (breast milk) exclusive. Constipation began to happen in babies start drinking milk formula or start eating other foods, the consistency of the stool (feces) will change and can become constipated.

Constipation in babies is usually due to:

• Problems or changes in diet foods diet-usually when the baby started solid foods are introduced.
• Lack of fluids and fiber in the diet.
• Making a concentration of infant formula is too strong.

So as the cause for the problem of food diet and try to manage changing existing diets.
